When should I place an order? Interested parties are advised to confirm their meals with us 1~2 months prior to the date of delivery.
Expected Date of Delivery. EDD is as per the delivery date described by the doctor.
What will the delivered time be? Our delivery time for lunch is between 11:00am~1:30pm, and dinner will be delivered between 5:00pm~7:30pm.
But please note that delivery time is dependable on traffic condition and delivery routes. Delivery time will varies during weekend and public holiday.
What containers will be used to store the food? We use Tupperware type of container that are microwaveable. This will ensure that the food can be conveniently heated if necessary.
Do I need to provide my own container? Nope, Newbaby will loan all the container required during the course of the confinement package. These containers will remain the property of Newbaby Pte Ltd but is available for purchase. Please contact us for more information if you would like to purchase any of the container.
How big is the portion of the food? Is it enough for my family? The food is designed specifically for the confinement mummy, thus the portion is enough for slightly more than 1 person. In addition, as chinese post-natal food are more heaty, it’s not advisable for the rest of the family member to consume.
Do I need to wash the containers after consumption? As container will be recycled and for hygiene purposes, we would require customer to empty and wash the containers. This is despite the fact that the container will be washed again when it is sent back to the kitchen.
What if I do not take some of the dishes? Changing of dishes are possible on a case-to-case basis. Please contact our staff for more assistance on the changes available.
What are the payment modes? We accept either cheque or cash payment.
What are the payment schedules like? For order above $800, we will collect a 50% payment on the first delivery and the balance will be collected half way through the rendering of the package.
Will I need to place a deposit upon confirmation? We collect a minimal of $100.00 upon confirmation of an order, after which the order will be sent to the central kitchen as an advance order. Payment for deposit will only be via cheque.
How do I know when to commence my meals? Once the hospital informs you of your discharging date and time, you can call our staff with the invoice number to arrange with us for the commencement of the delivery.
What if I am breastfeeding my baby? Our customers who breastfeed their babies have similar questions regarding ginger and wine. We would advice them to feed baby before consuming their meals. By the next meal, the ginger and wine contents in mummy’s body would have been excreted through urination. Alternatively, you may like to extract the breast milk before eating and feed the baby at a later time.
Other things to take note · ERP and car-park charges will be as per amount charged when the delivery is made. · Customer will be required to collect meals from lobby when the initial delivery address are hospitals. · For places that is impossible to park delivery vehicle, we would need customer to come down and meet our delivery crew for collection of the meal. · Request of disposable containers are at $2 per serving. · Please give notice 1 day in advance for changes of delivery address · Please give notice 1 day in advance for any postponement of meal. · There is a maximum of 3 change of address and postponement. Additional change/postponement will incur a admin charge of $10. · Please present any voucher or membership at the point of purchase. · Cancellation charges will be 20% of the original purchase price.
